SURE, they have a lot of FEELINGS and the trilogy was GREAT and my childhood etc 

but idk I mean — especially the deathly hallows part 2 (part 1, in particular, was a BAD movie movie), part 2 was okay

like, just because you like something a lot dosen’t mean it’s oscar-worthy

that’s not really how award shows work. I mean, on the basis of mass nostalgia you’re arguing it would mean, like…the star wars prequels could have won. 

Yeah, I mean, I love the movies and I hoped that they would win something at some point, but I definitely don’t think DH2 deserved a best picture nomination.
